Welcome to The SRB Class
The SRB Class is a Specialist Resource Base (SRB), providing specialist teaching for children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). Places are allocated by the Local Authority.
A full time teacher and two teaching assistants work in the SRB, supported by a speech therapy team for the equivalent of two days each week.
Norfolk’s Speech and Language SRBs also employ an Outreach Teacher who works with all five SRBs to provide advice, support and training for mainstream colleagues across the county.
Our aim at the SRB is to work together with children, families and schools to address speech, language and communication needs so that children can make a successful return to their home school.
